Governor Ajimobi of oyo state in a private meeting with Amaechi, Ganduje, Abubakar in Ibadan

The governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi is presently playing host to his counterparts from Jigawa and Kano State, Governor Badaru Abubakar and Governor Umar Ganduje respectively as well as the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi and the APC national secretary, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni. Ajimobi and his visitors, as at the time of filling this report are still in the Oyo State Government House, Ibadan where they were having a private meeting. Although the issues being discussed were not made known to the journalist, feelers have it that the private meeting had to do with the sundry issues within the party and the recent incursion of herdsmen across the country. Anambra state-Herdsmen Pay For Damaged Farm Produce, Farmers Pay For Killed Cows..

  HERDSMEN in Anambra State are to pay for agricultural produce they damaged last year while aggrieved farmers who killed cows belonging to the herders are to compensate their owners. This was the decision reached at a meeting between the leadership of Miyetti Allah Cattle breeders Association (MACBAN), community leaders, leaders of farmers association and government officials in the State. The herdsmen also earned a two weeks ultimatum to make their payments to the affected farmers. The ultimatum was handed over to them by the State Governor, Willie Obiano. The South East zonal chairman of MACBA, Alhaji Idris Sadiq Gidado, confirmed the development in an interview with Vanguard Newspaper . According to Gidado, they have N137,000 to pay the affected communities, adding that it was only Ufuma community that had outstanding compensation that would be paid in the next five days.
