Lady wins N15m Western Lotto Jackpot

A lady identified as Dorcas Nwagbara has become the first Western Lotto N15million Jackpot winner having matched six numbers correctly playing the world famous PowerBall Lottery on westernlotto.com.

Dorcas, who played with a N100 on Wednesday, September 13, won the much-coveted prize with ticket number 57909.
She is one of the 76 winners who won various cash prizes today playing Western Lotto's array of international and in-house games, such as Lotto Race and Kashman, among others.
Elated at the development, the Managing Director of Western Lotto, Mr. Yomi Ogunfowora, described the development as "remarkable", stressing that “Western Lotto is all about winning”.
"This is a remarkable achievement and we have been expecting a jackpot winner since we launched in July, and now, we have a winner,” Ogunfowora said.
"We look forward to making many more millionaires very soon. We are celebrating this lady for this achievement; N15million is significant and we hope this will be life-changing for her.
“Recall that on the 24th of August, 2017, an American woman Mavis Wanczyk won the record-breaking Powerball jackpot of $758.7m. I am not surprised women are playing and winning lotteries. We have had over 2300 winners since Western Lotto started operations and a good proportion of that has been women," Ogunfowora added.
Western Lotto is Nigeria’s premium gaming platform with 18 different games ranging from instant winnings to daily and twice weekly draws, including Kashman array of games, the fast-paced Lotto Race set of games and the international lotteries.
Western Lotto is regulated by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC).
