Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has discovered over N400 million in an abandoned Bureau De Change in Lagos. Relying on information provided by a anxious whistle blower, agents of the Commision swooped on the shopping complex and approved the character of the owners of two shops, LS 64 and LS 67 which were under locks and keys.
The anti-graft bureau has launched an investigation to unravelthe identity of the owner of the money.
Inquiries about the owner of shop 64 indicated he had not been apparent for a long time, as they claimed the shop had not been opened for businesses for close to two years.
Several calls were put to the owner of shop 67 but there was no response.
