overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, visited President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, August 18 at the Abuja House, London. Pastor Adeboye visits President Buhari.

Adeboye's visit to the ailing president was less than 24 hours after the president was visited by the senate president, Bukola Saraki and the speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara. He wrote: "I thank Pastor Adeboye for visiting today, and for his prayers and good wishes. May God continue to bless him and his work." Several hours after the meeting "Buhari return home" protest started right outside the current residence of the president, the Abuja House, London.

Turkey disowns citizen Abdülkadir Erkahrama, who supports Biafra and Nnamdi Kanu

The Turkish Embassy in Nigeria has restated its commitment to the territorial integrity and political unity of the country. In a statement issued from its base in Abuja, the government of Turkey disowned its citizen, Abdülkadir Erkahrama who publicly supports Nnamdi Kanu and the calls for Biafra. EFCC arrests former Abia state governorship candidate, Uche Ogah, for alleged forgery The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission today arrested former Abia state governorship candidate, Uche Ogah, over allegations of forgery. Ogah who is the president of oil firm, Masters Energy Oil and Gas, is alleged to have conspired with some persons still at large to forge a Memorandum of Understanding between his company, Masters Energy Oil and Gas Limited and Mut-Hass Petroleum Limited sometime in March 2011.
