Charly Boy calls off #ResumeOrResign Sit Out, sends message to 2Baba

Veteran entertainer Charles “Charly Boy” Oputa has called off the daily #ResumeOrResign sit out he has been leading since last Monday.

“This wasn’t an ethnic Protest, but they turned it so. It was a Peaceful Protest, but they made it violent. It wasn’t a personal attack on our sick President, but they twisted the matter. Because I value the lives of the tenacious, consistence, dogged, rugged and focused exceptional Youths. I call off the Resume or Resign sit out. We know the game and we will beat the modaf**kers at it. OurMumuDonDo,” he wrote on Instagram.Read Also:Apc bangs Charly bot,Buhari will never resign so stop making senseless noise

The suspension came after the group was allegedly attacked by hoodlums during Tuesday’s sit out.

Charly Boy, who slumped after the protesters, numbering 10 were teargassed and sprayed with water canons last Tuesday, also called out musician 2Baba to speak out in a video posted to Instagram.

2Baba had earlier organised the #IStandWithNigeria protest, which he pulled out from in the last minute due to police report that hoodlums are planning to hijack the protest.

The protest however, still held in major cities across the country.
