Nigeria entertainment music industry have really changed compared to the older days of toyin tetula,idris abukareem,fela anikulapo kuti(the greatest of all),ojb,faze etc...
This industry have really grown with the help of all this musician who paved a way for the new young talented musicians of today.
Nigeria hip hop musician of then actually fought for the uplift of these industry,back then when companies, industry would call a Nigerian artist to perform in their show and pay little token to them and rather pay huge amount to a foreigner who is not really up to their standard but because of the so called black mentality which we nigerians always exhibit believing they actually are superior to us....
Well,we all thank God these pretty musicians have fought and defeated..I can remember those days of idris abukareem in a fight with 50 cent,he fought for his personality...
No one can just side track him feeling he is the boss and we all need to stand up and follow these lead "we can do what they do so why should we be side tracked...we are Nigerians and we gonna give the best to the world" ....
Nigeria entertainment industry now are boosting and enjoying the whole effort which these pretty musicians fought for and never looked back to appreciate..
Nigeria entertainment music industry today is a big industry which is widely know across the globe with our award winning musician in like of Davido,WizKid,Dbanj,Tiwa savage,jidenna(a Nigeria US base musician),2face,Olamide, etc...
musicians are now making it big time in the industry and living an expensive life using exotic cars but all these enjoyment goes back to what there predecessor have done....
Nigeria Hip hop musician now features big catch artist in US,UK and collabo in music making..our music are now heard all over the world,we do shows across the globe,we get signed into foreign labels,we have won so many international awards,with these we can say we doing it right...
Now upcoming artist knows what he is coming to derive in the industry unlike those days when you get paid very low and you don't get international recognition,big companies endorses and Payless....
Every artist know gets millions from endorsement deals and also charge millions on shows depending on your fame....
Reason for writting these article is to actually take those musicians to the latter days when our entertainment industry was nothing but some people did a change to it..I want those people to be giving an award of recognition..
They fought for the younger ones in the game and now they all are enjoying it.....we should apply these to every entertainment industry in Nigeria..some people fought for us and we should always remember them
