. A horrible car accident occurred today at Sholabor Bridge in Ikorodu area of Lagos. The car somersaulted and landed in a canal after the crash. No update yet as to if there was any casualty. EFCC arrests former Abia state governorship candidate, Uche Ogah, for alleged forgery The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission today arrested former Abia state governorship candidate, Uche Ogah, over allegations of forgery. Ogah who is the president of oil firm, Masters Energy Oil and Gas, is alleged to have conspired with some persons still at large to forge a Memorandum of Understanding between his company, Masters Energy Oil and Gas Limited and Mut-Hass Petroleum Limited sometime in March 2011. Ogah was arrested on the premises of a Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Tinubu, Lagos Island where the case of forgery which was initially filed by the police was being heard. Other players quickly followed suit and have handed over their cars to Harewood for a pimped out version, he was seen standing with six of the cars in his garage. The cars are said to belong to Riyad Mahrez, Demarai Gray, Danny Simpson, Ben Chilwell, Andy King and Wes Morgan. The convoy of the Lagos State governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode fortunately saved several motorists from being attacked by a gang of armed robbers, who struck at Long Bridge on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The incident which took place last Thursday at about 8 pm was said to have been carried out by armed robbers who were dressed as Police officers. According to an eyewitness, the notorious robbers had blocked the expressway forcing motorists to stop which gave them the opportunity to carry out their dangerous act of robbing innocent motorists. However, luck ran out on the robbers when the convoy of Gov. Ambode, was returning from Osun State where Ambode had attended the President Buhari’s visit, realized that the police officers were fake and were in fact robbing people. AUG 03 Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, has upped her preparations for this year’s Pre-Nigeria Universities Games Association, Pre-NUGA, and Nigeria Universities Staff Game Association, NUSGA, competitions which will hold at the University of Agriculture, Makurdi and the National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja, respectively. The Chief Coach of the University, Mr. Bolanle Babalola, made this known last week Tuesday while briefing the Information Unit of the University on the level of preparation, saying both staff and students taking part in the competitions are undergoing serious training. Actress Lisa Raye, 49, and rapper, Da Brat, 42, are biological sisters with the same father, David Ray McCoy, but different mothers. Ray McCoy was a well known Chicago businessman, who owned several hotels and nightclubs, and he was also known to lend money to people who wanted to start their own businesses. He was brutally murdered in 1988 by his girlfriend and her brother..
