Air Peace begins flight operations to Benin, Accra

Here's good news for the good people of Abuja and Benin as Air Peace has announced its entry into the Benin, Edo State and Abuja routes from September 9 as part of its massive expansion plan. The airline, which recently acquired new aircraft to boost its operations, also said it will be flying to Accra, Ghana soon.


Air Peace assured that its Lagos-Benin-Lagos and Abuja-Benin-Abuja flight operationswill “be a statement in fun and comfort.”
It added: “The development is a response to the yearnings of our numerous loyalcustomers to operate flights to the great city. We invite the flying public to get on board and let's make history together.”



The Federal Government recently approved Air Peace’s flight operations from Enugu to Guangzhou, China. It has also been designated to operate regional and international flights to destinations including Johannesbourg, Atlanta, Dubai andMumbai.

Turkey disowns citizen Abdülkadir Erkahrama, who supports Biafra and Nnamdi Kanu

The Turkish Embassy in Nigeria has restated its commitment to the territorial integrity and political unity of the country. In a statement issued from its base in Abuja, the government of Turkey disowned its citizen, Abdülkadir Erkahrama who publicly supports Nnamdi Kanu and the calls for Biafra. The statement reads, 'as it has clearly been stated by the Press Release of the Turkish Embassy in Abuja dated on September 16, 2017, Turkish citizen Abdülkadir Erkahraman who has no connection with Turkish corps diplomatic or officially represents the Turkish government in Nigeria; also has no connection with DE?K's Turkey-Nigeria Business Council operating under DE?K's umbrella since 2011 and DT?K (World Turkish Business Council). EFCC arrests former Abia state governorship candidate, Uche Ogah, for alleged forgery The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission today arrested former Abia state governorship candidate, Uche Ogah, over allegations of forgery. Ogah who is the president of oil firm, Masters Energy Oil and Gas, is alleged to have conspired with some persons still at large to forge a Memorandum of Understanding between his company, Masters Energy Oil and Gas Limited and Mut-Hass Petroleum Limited sometime in March 2011. Ogah was arrested on the premises of a Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Tinubu, Lagos Island where the case of forgery which was initially filed by the police was being heard.
