Officers slaughtered 17 herders in Southern Kaduna - Miyetti Allah

Alhaji Haruna Usman, the director of the Kaduna state section of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), on Tuesday, March 21, blamed fighters for killing 17 herders in Daile Alkariyo town, Jama'a neighborhood government territory in the southern piece of Kaduna state.
As per Usman, the occurrence happened on Monday, March 20, uncovering that more than 40 houses were torched by the warriors amid the episode, Leadership reports.

Usman stated: "They welcomed the security staff to come and intercede in the issue, however when they came, they began slaughtering Fulani. They executed around 17 and consumed around 47 houses.

"It is not the indigenes of the territory that executed the Fulanis, the military men slaughtered them. So the administration slaughter them and I don't have a clue about the reason.

"The military men consumed their homes and murdered them. Indeed one old man, just about 75 years of age, was shot on the leg, he has just a single leg, they shot the other leg.

"Recently (on Monday), I called the Garrison Commander to illuminate him about what was occurring, he said he would check and contact the Commanding Officer of the range, yet we have not talked from that point forward."

In any case, Kingsley Umoh, representative 1 division of the Nigerian Army, Kaduna, revealed to The Cable that he didn't know about the episode when reached.

"I can't affirm that occurrence, yet I will soon give a report on happenings in southern Kaduna," he said.

Response from the representative of the Kaduna state police order, Aliyu Usman, was as yet anticipated as at the season of documenting this report.
