Police PRO Jimoh Moshood call Benue Governor Samuel Ortom "Drowning Man" - BellaNaija

The Nigeria Police Public Relations Officer Jimoh Moshood has called Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom a “drowning man.”

Moshood made the comment while speaking on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily.

His comment was in reference to Ortom’s call for the resignation of the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, over the killings perpetrated by Fulani Herdsmen.

Moshood said Ortom should be the one to resign, as he has been unable to keep the peace in his state.

“And that is why we felt you don’t join issues with a drowning man,” Moshood added.

Turkey disowns citizen Abdülkadir Erkahrama, who supports Biafra and Nnamdi Kanu

The Turkish Embassy in Nigeria has restated its commitment to the territorial integrity and political unity of the country. In a statement issued from its base in Abuja, the government of Turkey disowned its citizen, Abdülkadir Erkahrama who publicly supports Nnamdi Kanu and the calls for Biafra.
