Neymar will stay at Barcelona, insists Guillem Balague

Neymar's father has told Barcelona that his son does not want to leave the Nou Camp amid rumors that the Brazil international is on the verge to leave the Catalan capital.

Barcelona vice-president Jordi Mestre insisted on Tuesday that Neymar would be staying at the club, despite reports suggesting Paris Saint-Germain were interested in signing the Brazil international this summer.

The Catalan giants believe there is no genuine interest in Neymar from PSG and, according to Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, are convinced the speculation surrounding his future "is all a game".

Balague also revealed Barcelona have asked the 25-year-old to message the club's fans on social media to make it clear he wants to stay at the club.
PSG were linked with Neymar last season only for the forward to sign a new five-year deal with Barca last October.

Neymar has four years left to run on his current deal at Barcelona

Neymar joined Barca from Santos in June 2013 and has since scored 105 goals in 186 appearances for the club.

He has won La Liga twice, the Copa del Rey on three occasions and the Champions League during his four years at Barca.
